Backend engineer focused on payments and billing platforms in regulated environments. Currently own the FedNow integration at Texas Capital, handling ~300K daily transactions. Previously shipped GraphQL and Java services for subscription billing across 200+ markets at PayPal.
I currently own the FedNow integration at Texas Capital, where I built the settlement concurrency model that handles around 300K daily transactions across 8 client banks. End-to-end — technical design, message sequencing, retry semantics, reconciliation.
Earlier at PayPal, I worked on GraphQL and Java services for subscriptions billing across 200+ markets — BFF aggregation, dunning systems, webhook delivery, FX caching. Before that, I ran the on-call for BCBS claims pipelines at Anthem/Elevance.
I enjoy the deep parts of systems work, but I also care about shipping clean code, being useful on-call, and helping the people around me get better.
Numbers don't lie — here's the measurable impact across production systems.
Shipped systems, not just side projects. Each one solves a real problem in production — click any card for the full story.
